How to install mods on your Ark Survival server Print

This guide will help you on how to install mods to your server.

Legacy Installs:

1. Stop server
2. Go to Configuration Files, edit GameUserSettings.ini file with EASY EDITOR option, and scroll down till Mods section
3. In the Active Mods field, type the ModID's you want to add separated by commas, Example: 8392742,1632723,3272237 (*) Make sure not to leave extra comma at the end and no spaces between the mods.
4. Press Update Workshop Mods button on your control panel and wait for mods to download
5. Start server

(*) You can find the ModId of the mod, opening the workshop page of the mod, and copying the numbers in the end of the workshop page link, example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=566885854 the ModID it's 566885854

***Always confirm if the mods you that you are adding, they are still updated, they still work on your ARK version, and if they can be stacked with other mods***

Using Steam Workshop Browser :

1. Stop server
2. Open the steam workshop on the main control panel
3. Search for the name of the mod you want to install for example "Genesis"
4. Click install and it will auto install the mod and add the mod id to the text editor of the game user settings file under active mods.

(Please note once installed via steam workshop only use text editor for future config changes, as the Easy Configurator will overwrite the text editor)
