With our game panel, one Palworld dedicated game server can host players on Steam, Xbox (console and the Microsoft Store PC version), PS5 and Mac together. Since the Crossplay update (v0.5.0, March 2025), Palworld dedicated servers are crossplay enabled by default. Check below how to choose which platforms can join your Palworld dedicated game server.
WARNING - PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING
- Mods are PC only: Xbox and PS5 players can't install them. If your server runs mods that every player must install, console players can't play with them, so remove those mods before you invite console players!
- Crossplay is supported. The CrossplayPlatforms setting decides who can join: the default (Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac) lets every platform in, and a platform you leave out of the list can't join. Xbox and PS5 players can only find your server in the Community Servers list, so keep the Community Server option enabled (see How to connect to your Palworld dedicated game server).
- Stop your server
- Go to the Configuration Files button and edit the PalWorldSettings.ini file with the Config Editor option
- Scroll down to CrossplayPlatforms and list the platforms you want, for example (Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac) for everyone or (Steam,Xbox) for Steam and Xbox only, then Save & Exit (if the Config Editor doesn't list it, open the file with the Text Editor: it sits in the OptionSettings=(...) line as CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac))
- Start your server
